Eligible applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in or serving the
Greater Dayton region (see below for the list of counties). Projects must align with one
or more of the Foundation’s funding priorities.

We offer two grant cycles per year:
Spring Cycle: Application opens April 1, closes April 30.

There is no minimum or maximum grant amount. Requests should be appropriate to the
scope of the project and the organization’s capacity.

Yes. Grant terms may extend up to four (4) years depending on the scope of work and
at the discretion of the Board.

Applications are scored based on alignment with funding priorities, potential for impact,
organizational capacity, budget clarity, and other standard review criteria.

Spring Cycle funding decisions are typically made by June 30, and Fall Cycle funding
decisions are typically made by December 31. Applicants will be notified within 10
business days following the Board’s decision.
