Ohio is #10 in cancer incidences and deaths among all states,

and in 2019 is projected to see 67,100 new cases, and 25,440 deaths.

The 14-county Dayton region has significant cancer incidences and deaths, higher than other parts of Ohio. In 2019, 8,797 Dayton-area residents will become cancer patients and 3,363 who are battling cancer will perish.

Cancer is the leading cause of death in most of the 14-county Dayton region, and a leading cause in the rest. Lung, breast and prostate cancer are the most prevalent cancers.
